Hello!

I'm an experienced pastel artist based in Hampshire, UK and I specialise in creating realistic portraits of your pets and wildlife. I've always been an animal lover, having grown up with rabbits, guinea pigs and dogs, and understand how meaningful such artwork can be, especially if the portrait is a memorial piece.

I value the communication with my clients and enjoy learning the details of your pet so that I can produce the best, and most representative, portrait possible

A close-up ‘Detail’ for today’s #MarchMeetTheMaker!

This beautifully stitched fishtail collar was the perfect addition to Bonnie’s portrait. I ‘stitched’ together separate reference images of Bonnie and her collar to create her portrait, which was a fun challenge!

Lolly the Whippet ✨

It was such a joy to create this portrait of the beautiful @lollythewhippet, working from a stunning reference photo.

With my family’s love of Whippets, this piece felt especially close to my heart.

Lolly’s gorgeous brindle coat was a dream to capture, and I double mounted it with an inner tone that perfectly complements her markings.

So delighted her family is happy with it!

Today’s #MarchMeetTheMaker is ‘Style’!

My style is all about capturing every little detail to bring out your pet’s unique personality. Keeping my pastel tips sharp allows me to create individual strands of fur, making each portrait as lifelike as possible.

A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure of drawing Beryl, a beautiful fox red Labrador. Even then, my dedication to detail was the same - I focused on her gentle expression through her puppy eyes, expressive eyebrows and soft ears to truly bring her to life.

A recent memorial piece of the lovely Nelson, a chocolate Labrador.

The reference photo for this commission had the sun setting around Nelson and it really brought out some beautiful colours in his fur.
